Santiago, Chile. These guys were hilarious. They closed off a small street, and every time a car would pass by, they’d run in front of it and pretend they got hit. Sometimes, they’d open the doors of cars and pull the drivers out! Totally illegal, absolutely hilarious.

Easter Island, Chile. This was pretty much my setup throughout the island.
Valparaíso, Chile. This chilean boy from Santiago came to visit Valparaíso for the weekend. It was his first time riding one of the diagonal elevators. With immense curiosity, he couldn’t keep his eyes from staring out the window the entire ride.
Easter Island, Chile. The rock from which these statues are carved is fairly soft and frail … the moai are literally falling apart piece by piece. They’re also incredibly weathered as, they are, hundreds of years old.
Valparaíso, Chile. Recently named a UNESCO world heritage site in 2003, Valparaíso is often considered the cultural center of Santiago, full of hills and colorful houses.
Santiago, Chile. I saw these guys and couldn’t help but ask for a picture … they started posing for me. The one in the middle kept taking his hat off to fix his hair, and then would put his hat back on.
