Chennai, India. This boy insisted that I photograph him jumping into the river. His expression and the timing just happened to work out, perfectly.

Chennai, India. This child was sitting in his stairwell eating dinner. He used a palm leaf as a plate which is common in this area. For these meals, utensils are not utilized — only hands. I actually find eating with my hands much more enjoyable than using utensils. There is a tactile sensation that is lost with a fork and knife and this sensation adds a completely new dimension to the eating experience.
